ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the tragic attack on a school in Kahramanmaraş, a city in southern Turkiye, according to a Thursday post on X.


The message specifically conveyed heartfelt condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkiye, emphasizing the close bond between the two nations.


The message mourned the loss of young lives, offering prayers for the departed souls and wishing a swift recovery for those injured in the attack.



He reiterated that the nation stands firmly with Turkiye during this difficult time.


Highlighting the enduring friendship between the two countries, the statement underscored Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Turkish people, particularly the families grappling with the devastating loss.
