ISTANBUL: Two Turkish journalists were arrested Saturday for filming near a sensitive airbase in southern Turkey that hosts US troops in live footage taken for Anka news agency, the Turkish outlet said.
"Two journalists were detained... as part of an investigation launched by the Adana chief public prosecutor’s office regarding ANKA News Agency’s broadcast from the vicinity of Incirlik air base," it said.
The arrests came following Israeli and US strikes on Iran, which retaliated with missile barrages against Gulf states hosting US bases and against Israel.
