ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s deputy prime minister and Australia&rsquo;s foreign minister discussed&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistans-interior-minister-acting-us-envoy-discuss-security-for-islamabad-talks" target="_blank" style="font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 115, 230);" rel="noopener noreferrer">diplomatic efforts</a>&nbsp;and global economic concerns in a telephone conversation, according to Pakistan&rsquo;s Foreign Office. He stated Pakistan was resolved to continue encouraging dialogue and constructive engagement. Both sides voiced concern over the wider impact on the global economy, particularly for developing countries, amid rising <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/oil-surges-stocks-fall-as-trump-says-to-blockade-strait-of-hormuz" target="_blank" style="font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 115, 230);" rel="noopener noreferrer">oil prices</a> linked to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/usisrael-war-on-iran-day-52" target="_blank" style="font-size: 18px; color: rgb(0, 115, 230);" rel="noopener noreferrer">Middle East war</a>. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan&rsquo;s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper&rsquo;s support of Islamabad&rsquo;s role in facilitating the initial US-Iran ceasefire, hosting the Islamabad Talks, and the south Asian country&#39;s continued efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy for peace and stability.
