ISLAMABAD: The United Arab Emirates said it will not allow its airspace, land, or territorial waters to be used for any military actions against Iran, the country’s foreign ministry said on Sunday.
In a statement, the Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the UAE is committed to preventing the use of its territory for any hostile operations against Iran and will not provide logistical support for such actions.
The ministry reiterated the UAE’s position that dialogue, de-escalation, and adherence to international law, along with respect for state sovereignty, remain the most effective foundations for addressing current regional crises.
It added that Abu Dhabi believes disputes should be resolved through diplomatic means, reflecting the country’s long-standing approach to regional stability and conflict prevention.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the region, as concerns grow over the risk of further escalation involving Iran and its regional rivals.
